Verification Engineer
Location: Oldenzaal, Overijssel, Nederland
Artinis is looking for a verification engineer who is enthusiastic and driven by the development of biomedical devices. You will be part of the Research and Development team and a key member of the research and biomedical device development and testing group. The position involves creating and conducting product and software tests and validating test methods used to characterize products in concept, development and post-launch phases. You conduct hands-on experiments, evaluate the data and present the findings. Your product expertise supports our sales and support team for technical information. Together with the hardware and software team, you work on the development of our new systems, software and accessories and ensure the quality of the products from the user perspective. Your feedback is crucial for the further improvement and development of our products. Key responsibilities
Develop and execute test protocols, implement test procedures, evaluate test results and prepare technical test reports.
Design test methods to measure the performance of software.
Collaborate effectively with various project team members such as project leaders, hardware and software engineers, operations, regulatory affairs, marketing, etc.
Transfer documented test methods to production, quality control or external suppliers.
Identify and obtain new test equipment and perform performance validation of automated software testing and test methodologies.
Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in EEG and EMG technologies.
Supporting new product development, regulatory submissions and post-launch activities.
Qualifications
BSc or MSc Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Software development or similar.
Strong analytical skills are required for finding failures and performing root-cause analysis.
Affinity with human electrophysiology and research.
Experience with Python and/or MATLAB is a plus.
Comfortable working in a regulated medical device development environment.
Willing to work in an experimental environment performing hands-on experiments and be able to communicate findings (oral and written) to the project team.
